Permanent Jewelry

Permanent Jewelry is a luxury, custom fit, everyday piece of fine jewelry.

Choose from our curated collection of 14k gold filled and sterling silver chains and charms to create your unique bracelet, anklet or necklace. Your piece will be welded closed using a micro TIG weld and argon gas.

This micro weld makes your new custom jewelry claspless and 'permanent'. A symbol or promise of commitment, a special bond.

While these bonds are built to endure every day wear, things happen. If your piece gets caught or needs to be removed for whatever reason, we are ready and able to refresh this bond for a small fee.

FAQs

Is Permanent Jewelry attached to your skin?

NO! We carefully weld the chain around your body part, with a protective leather between you and the weld during the process.

Does it hurt?

Completely painless!

What if I can't have anything on while I sleep/shower?

While most of our chains are so light and dainty, you won't even feel it, we do offer clasps for our claustrophobic friends!

Can it be removed?

You can simply cut the jump ring used to weld the chain together with a wire cutter or sharp scissors. Save it in a safe place to be reZapped!

What if I need an MRI or an XRAY?

We recommend that you speak with your doctor and ask if you will need to remove you permanent jewelry during your X-ray or MRI appointment.

Many of our clients have not been required to remove their permanent jewelry but that is up to the discretion of your doctor.

If you are required to remove your permanent jewelry for any medical reason, you can easily cut the jump ring and keep it in a safe place. We will gladly re-Zap at no charge if your jewelry was removed for a medical reason. Just send us a message when you are ready to re-weld your piece back on or book through Gloss Genius.

Do you offer repairs or adjustments?

A re-Zap is subject to a $15 service fee. Any repair or re-weld from another provider is subject to a $20 service fee.

What happens if it breaks and I lose it?

We ensure your piece is fully welded on you and there are no issues with the chain on the day of your appointment.

If enough pressure is applied to the chain or if it gets caught somewhere, the chain may break.

Get in touch with us if you need a repair. We will inspect the chain before re-welding it on you to make sure there are no issues with the chain. Most repairs are $15. However, if the integrity of the chain has been compromised or it has overstretched a new chain will need to be purchased.

We do not offer replacements on broken or lost pieces.
